Gett'en geared up for the St. George Marathon!

Our marathon is 8 days away! Jonathan, Amy, Tim, Cody, and I are all running in the St. George Marathon on October 4th. 2008. This will be my first marathon and I have to admit I am a bit nervous! This is a big feat for me and I am so excited to accomplish this goal of running a marathon! I have worked hard training for the last 6 months and I am ready for this marathon to be over for a little break! It will feel strange not getting up every morning at 3:30 or 4:00 am! I do believe normal people are still sleeping at this time! I guess all of us Brown's believe that "Pain does feel Good!"

At the cabin a couple weeks ago, Jonathan surprized everyone with a T-Shirt that says "Brown 26.2" on the back and on the front it says "Pain feels Good!"(Susan Vance Brown). This quote came from our mom. Sometimes when she would go running on Saturday mornings she would bring us along. When we would complain she would tell us that "Pain Feels Good!" So Jonathan made everyone run a little race at the cabin to earn there new T- Shirt! Jonathan even put on a medal ceremony. Each child was excited to receive a medal plus a shirt. Thanks Jonathan you are Awesome!

During this last summer we enjoyed several trips up to Vernon Arizona to stay at Dad and Jeanines cabin. I love to be up in the mountains the flowers this year were all over the place. We collected tons of flowers, Horny Toads, and even a little green frog! I am thankful to be able to gather with family at our family cabin. The cousins will have so many memories of this special place.

Hondo took Nathan, Ashley, Tanner, Rigdon, Kade, Katie, and Jackson to go Frog hunting. The kids had so much fun. They came home excited to show me the biggest frog I had ever seen!
