Hondo came home and told the kids that his friend Brawner Reynold's dog had puppies. He asked the kids if they wanted to go look at them. Well the kids were so excited to see these puppies. As soon as we got there they began begging me if they could please have a puppy. I was determined and had my mind made up that the answer was NO! The kids made up and plan and schedule of how they would take care of this new puppy if I would please, Please, Please just let them have one. There were many tears shed and lots of promises made by my kids! The next day Hondo took them to pick up a new puppy. It is a Bassett Hound and it's name is SPANKY! What a cute puppy and so far the kids have taken good care of him. Spanky is a little bit spoiled sleeping right next to the kids all night long! Kade loves to play with him. Spanky chases after the kids and they run as fast as they can and jump on the couch avoiding the little bite on their feet from the puppy!
